Detailed Itinerary of the 8 Days Gorillas Rwanda and Masai Mara Tour

Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Ruhengeri

Wake up have breakfast then transfer on a City Tour around Kigali visiting the Genocide Memorials, National Museums as well as National market then later with lunch, proceed on your journey to Volcanoes National Park Ruhengeri District. On reaching here, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, return back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking & Visit Local Communities

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys 2-4 hours. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos as you follow them from one point to another. After Golden Monkey Tracking, proceed on a guided community walk and visit to the Local Communities then later, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Masai Mara National Park from Kigali

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport from Kigali, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you to Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley. En-route have picnic lunch at Narok then later proceed to Masai Mara National Park and when you reach here, check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Manyatta Tented Camp.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Park

Wake up early, have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a full day game drive in the park in search of the Big Five and other wildlife animals. After the Game Drive in the evening, transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Manyatta Tented Camp.

Day 6: Game Drive & Masai Village visit in Afternoon

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a full day game drive in the park in search of the Big Five and other wildlife animals. After the Game Drive, break off for lunch and then transfer to experience a community/ cultural visit to the local Maasai Villages where you learn a lot about the lives of the Masai local people. After, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Manyatta Tented Camp.

Day 7: Transfer to Nairobi for City Tour

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a City Tour around Nairobi City. Here, visit various attractions ranging from National Museum to Nairobi National park then later have lunch and embark to check-in your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Hilton Hotel Nairobi.

Day 8: Departure to Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta Airport 

Wake up have breakfast then transfer with your luggage to board your flight back home at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport.
