Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you to Akagera National Park for a period of 2 hours via the green rolling hills of Rwanda, Genocide memorials and national Museums then later you reach the Park and transfer to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise along Lake Ihema
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks watching numerous wildlife animals wander around their natural habitat. After the Game, Break off for lunch then proceed on an afternoon Boat Cruise along Lake Ihema which offers you views of wildlife, hippos and crocodiles beneath the waters. After the Boat Cruise, transfer back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to Volcanoes National Park for a period of 4 to 6 hours with en-route views of the green terrain, birds and lunch. When you reach the Park, proceed to check-in your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 5: Departure to Kigali
Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a departure to Kigali International Airport to board a flight back home.
