Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Gorillas and Golden Monkey Tracking Tour

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri for a period of 2 hours via the green rolling hills of Rwanda, Genocide memorials and national Museums then later you reach the Park and transfer to check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the code of conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide, enter the forest to track the Golden Monkeys 2-4 hours. When you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking various photos as you follow them from one point to another. After Golden Monkey Tracking, proceed back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 4: Departure to Kigali

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, embark on a departure to Kigali International Airport to board a flight back home.
