10-Day Rwanda–Uganda Cultural Social Responsible Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali (Rwanda)

• Activity: Arrival and transfer (approx. 20 mins) to your hotel.
• Highlight: Kigali – Africa’s cleanest and most vibrant capital.
• Accommodation: Kigali Serena Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Nyimirambo Women’s Center & Transfer to Kabale (Uganda)

• Morning: Visit Nyamirambo Women’s Center – experience cooking, weaving, and culture.
• Afternoon: Drive to Kabale (approx. 2.5 hrs), lunch en route, leisure afternoon.
• Accommodation: Lake Bunyonyi Bird Nest (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 3: Visit Grace Villa

• Morning: Tour Grace Villa, supporting vulnerable girls through education, sport, and art.
• Afternoon: Free time; shop and relax by Lake Bunyonyi.
• Accommodation: Lake Bunyonyi Bird Nest (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 4: Ride 4 A Woman & Transfer to Bwindi

• Morning: Leisure breakfast and departure for Bwindi (approx. 4 hrs).
• Afternoon: Visit Ride 4 A Woman, a women’s empowerment center in Buhoma.
• Accommodation: Silverback Lodge (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

• Morning: Gorilla tracking
• Afternoon: Return to lodge, rest and enjoy the forest atmosphere.
• Accommodation: Silverback Lodge (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 6: Batwa Community Visit & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP (Ishasha Sector)

• Morning: Cultural tour with the Batwa pygmy community.
• Afternoon: Transfer to Ishasha (approx. 2 hrs), game drive en route.
• Accommodation: Ishasha Wilderness Camp (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 7: Game Drives – Queen Elizabeth NP (Ishasha)

• Morning & Afternoon: Game drives in Ishasha; possible sightings of tree-climbing lions.
• Accommodation: Ishasha Wilderness Camp (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 8: Transfer to Northern QENP & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

• Morning: Drive to northern Queen Elizabeth NP (approx. 2 hrs).
• Afternoon: Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel – see hippos, crocodiles, and birds.
• Accommodation: Marafiki Safari Lodge (Meals only, no drinks)

 

Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge

• Morning: Game drive followed by chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge.
• Afternoon: Rest and enjoy views over Lake George and the Rwenzori Mountains.
• Accommodation: Marafiki Safari Lodge (Meals only, no drinks)

Day 10: Flight to Entebbe & Departure

• Morning: Transfer to Kasese Airstrip for scheduled flight to Entebbe.
• Afternoon: Day room at Boma Guest House, followed by transfer to the airport.
