Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bukavu town

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport you will be picked by the company driver guide and start the drive southwards to Cyangugu boarder on the way to Bukavu in DR Congo have lunch at (Butale Ibis hotel) and continue cross the boarder to Bukavu, Incase time allows visit some genocide memorials along the nyungwe road. Day 2: Gorilla Habituation in Kahuzi Biega National Park

Have early morning breakfast then drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park to trek the lowland Gorillas, The Drive from Orchid Safari lodge is about 1 hour to the park headquarters for the true experience of the lowland Gorilla trekking in Democratic Republic of Congo. During the briefing time clients are entertained by the cultural dance and hot tea offered by the park.

Gorilla Habituation in Kahuzi Biega National park is an amazing experience as it helps you to understand the difference between the Eastern lowland Gorillas from the mountain gorillas. Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Goma

In the morning, you will go for the second gorilla trekking of the eastern lowland gorillas in the wilderness of Kahuzi Biega National Park and later return to Bukavu town taking an awaiting speed boat to transfer to Goma Town. The Speed boat from Bukavu to Goma takes around 3 hours, Dinner and overnight at Lac vic hotel in Goma for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Rwanda (Iby’iwachu Cultural Center)

Wake up have breakfast then transfer traversing the DR Congo-Rwanda border to Iby’Iwachu Cultural Center to enjoy Cultural Encounters through Music, Dance and Drama.
